12th international Lithuanian Biochemical Society Conference "50 years for Biochemistry studies in Lithuania" took place in "Tolieja", Moletai, Lithuania on June 28-30, 2012. The Conference is dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the Biochemistry studies in Lithuania and comprised plenary lectures, poster presentations and other activities.
FEBS IUMBS Congress
37th FEBS and 22nd IUMBS Congress took place in Seville, Spain at the Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) on September 4-9, 2012. The main theme of the conference is "From single molecules to systems biology". Close collaboration between biologists, biochemists, physiologists, chemists, physicists and mathematicians is essential in order to expand the molecular studies into the characterization and modeling of the complex interactions of genes, proteins and metabolic processes.
