Transportation

If you need the transportation from Vilnius or Kaunas airports to the venue of the Conference - BIRŠTONAS - we recommend to read carefully the following information.

These is no possibility to travel by train from Vilnius and Kaunas to the venue of the Conference. Regarding this information we recommend to use public bus. The buses are usually going from the bus stations.

Please also check the timetables of the transfers from airports to the bus stations in the websites of Vilnius and Kaunas airports.

Transfers for those who will be living in "Nemuno Vingis":

"Nemuno Vingis" is on the other side of the river than the venue of the Conference - THE CULTURE CENTER OF BIRŠTONAS - is located.

The transfer (ship) is organised for 2 times per day during the whole Conference: before the Conference and after the Conference (on 18 June the transfer is planned after the Welcome Reception) according to the program.

The fee for the mentioned service is covered by the Conference Organisers.

Main venues and spots related with the Conference

There is no transfer planned for from the pier to "Nemuno Vingis" and to Culture Center of Birštonas as well as from medical spa "Eglė" to the Culture Center of Birštonas. We expect to have a nice weather for a short walks every day. The distances for the walks:

• Pier in the river side where "Nemuno Vingis" is locaded - "Nemuno Vingis": to be announced soon
• Pier in the river side where Culture Center of Birštonas is located - Culture Center of Birštonas: to be announced soon
• Medical SPA "Eglė" - Culture Center of Birštonas: 850 m (11 min. by foot)
• Culture Center of Birštonas - Kurhauzas: 1 km (12 min by foot).
