Experience: chief scientist, head of the Department of Immunology and Cell Biology at the Institute of Biotechnology of Vilnius University (Vilnius, Lithuania), professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Vilnius University, chair of the PhD Committee on Chemistry Engineering of Vilnius University, member of the Council of the Institute of Biotechnology, member of the Council of the Lithuanian Society for Immunology, member of the Council of the Lithuanian Biochemical Society.

Education: Vilnius University, Biochemistry (1982), Institute of Molecular Biology of the Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia (1988), habilitation procedure, Vilnius University (2008).

Main Fields of Research: immunology, immunobiotechnology, immunogenicity studies of recombinant virus-like particles, generation of monoclonal and recombinant antibodies

Scientific publications: author of 45 publications included into Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge database, H index - 11, author of 6 patents/patent applications.

Other achievements: State Research Fellowship of the Highest Degree of the Lithuanian Ministry of Science and Education (2008-2009), National Science Award (2013).
